At the beginning of the conference, Li Jingyi, Administrative Assistant Deputy General Manager of Cedar Electronics delivered a speech, expressing the most sincere welcome to the major leaders and all partners. He pointed out that Cedar Electronics was established relying on the “cradle of optics” in China - Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and grew up in the fertile soil of innovation in Changchun New District. It had made breakthroughs in technological innovation, brand building, market expansion and so on. The company expected that all partners would further reach ideological agreement, form synergy for development and jointly create a new situation and business opportunities when deepening the strategic layout of national market.

At the conference, Wang Xiaodong, General Manager of Changguang Group of Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences made a speech. He pointed out that: Cedar Electronics was a representative industrialised unit of Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which played a key leading role in the achievement transformation of major national science and technology projects. He hoped that the company would continue to optimize and improve the production and service system based on overall development situation, and create new value based on the existing advantages.

Speech by Hua Jingbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Changchun New District

Hua Jingbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Changchun New District affirmed the achievements of Cedar Electronics, and introduced the development orientation and industrial planning of Changchun New District. He stressed that enterprise was the main body of independent innovation and the main force of steady growth. Cedar Electronics was the “glaring” name card of information display industry in the New District and even in Jilin Province, so the government will continue to create a good environment for the development of the enterprise. He hoped that guided by the innovation-driven development strategy, the company would continue to play the demonstration and leading role of corporate champion in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and shape the new competitive advantages of China in the manufacturing industry. 

Established relying on Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and growing up based on Changchun new District, Cedar Electronics has developed from a representative industrialised unit of scientific research institute to the largest market entity within the district and has created batches of leading LED display and lighting products. In the keynote speech of the conference, the heavyweight team from Cedar Electronics made in-depth interpretation on technology trends, product systems, cooperation strategies and the like.

Dr. Wang Yang, Deputy General Manager shared the report of Development Trend of Large-size Mini/Micro LED COB Display Technology. He indicated that currently, the new display technology presented the development trend of comprehensive scene, and function and technology diversification. Among the many technical routes, flip chip integrated package LED display technology was the key core technology to achieve UHD large-size and super large-size display products. Cedar Electronics had mastered the core technology of whole chain of COB display, and innovatively constructed the full scene application ecology for different application fields of users, realizing full coverage of point spacing from 0.4mm to 2.5mm, which deeply met the high-level display needs of large display era.

Chang Liang, Deputy General Manager of Cedar Electronics

Deputy General Manager Chang Liang gave a comprehensive introduction to the company and reviewed the milestone achievements in development. Manager Chang pointed out that since 2001, Cedar Electronics had been engaged in the production, research and development of LED display and lighting to meet the major national needs. The company had successively taken the lead in undertaking special projects of “The 10th Five-year Plan” “The 11th Five-year Plan” and “The 13th Five-Year Plan” National Key R&D Program and the major key projects of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jilin Province and Changchun City. The company had domestic leading technology, largest production base and a global marketing network, and it actively promoted the deep integration of technological achievements and industrial development, and had created a number of industry benchmarks in key industries and important fields.

Operations Director Ji Fengqiang reported on the new product system, pointing out that the company pioneered the Flip Chip COB technology and its products had the advantages of the most complete point spacing, the most complete whole machine size, and the most abundant product sequence. In the context of green UHD becoming an industry trend, the five new product series of Obsidian, Phantom Crystal, White Jade, Monolith and Intelligent Conference All-in-one released to the global market in response to user need precisely met the differentiated needs of various fields, which had realized full-point spacing coverage, full-scene application and full-size layout, and would meet the demand for UHD large display in the new information era and comprehensively lead the industry into the era of full-scene application!

Subsequently, Guo Lianqing, Director of Domestic Business Department, gave a comprehensive explanation on the cooperation strategy and policy of new products, indicating that with national supported service system, perfect project report management system and strict quality assurance system, Cedar Electronics could energize brand promotion in national market. He highly summarized the relationship with partners under the new situation with “trust, fairness, support and symbiosis”. He emphasized that Cedar Electronics would provide partners with more high-quality and perfect service and support to jointly build a long-term, stable and solid cooperative relationship. Finally, Liu Haiyang, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer emphatically introduced the mode, advantages, specific contents, handling process, and risk prevention of supply chain finance. He indicated that based on company credit, Cedar Electronics had established a high-quality financial service model centered on agents and cooperative banks, which could support partners across the country through banking system, effectively relieve the pressure of purchasing funds for partners, further shorten the project operation cycle, and ensure the safety and convenience of the whole supply chain.
